After closing on my house, and then spending the weekend monging at the beach (sunburnt feets to show for it) I have NO EARTHLY DESIRE TO BE AT WORK TODAY. The drive to Mobile was BRUTAL. JUST BRUTAL. And the prospect of spending the rest of the week here seems worse than usual.

In other news, PISS, PISS, MOAN, MOAN.

Not 500, but yeah, I stuffed some follow up letters.

I just seem to be continually stuck in a cart/horse situation.

I'm just going in to work right now to get my mail and coming home. I'm never in a mood to do anything after two days of flying. And I've got another conference this week, but in a far less glamourous locale: sunny SASKATOON! And at this conference, I get one measly fucking drink ticket. At least meals are comped. I'm going to steal some ham and a garbage bag full of rolls.

My Monday has been quite nice.

First day of two weeks off before beginning my new job after the 4th of July holiday. Cut the gras and washed the car before spending the rest of the day lounging around and watching the World Cup...which I will be able to take in almost in its entirety with all the time on my hands.

So...yeah...I assume you all hate me about now.

i was just thinking the same thing, today fucking sucks.

i've been to the dmv TWICE today. that's TWICE. i finally got my car back but had to pay my registration... then i didn't realize my insurance expired at the beginning of the month since it's been almost a month and half without a car. so luckily i was able to take care of the renewal online but then i had to go back so i can get the registration.

and then i got slammed with a huge ass project that i'm stressing on finishing by end of the day today. then there was another issue with something that was so mediocre but turned into a huge fire drill over nothing.

last night i couldn't sleep because my fucking roommates were being loud. i'm getting tired of them.

my best friend is pissing me off.

i'm so over today. if it weren't for french kicks/futureheads tonight and duke spirit dj'ing the afterparty, i'd burn down the city of los angeles.

my monday was uneventful. wednesdays always stress me out because you're an arm's length from the weekend no matter how you look at it. sucks.
