after being tipped off by pitchfork, i've read a few more reviews of girl talk's "night ripper" and am intrigued. can anyone here testify to "night ripper"? is it worth my time? (it's on emusic and sounds like it could be pulled completely off the shelf at any time via lawsuit.)

yeah i'm intrigued by this. The Pittsburgh connection doesn't deter this intrigue. I wonder if he throws donny iris in there.

As am I. Does anyone physically own a 2 Many DJs album? Those fuckers were like $30 a pop.

I do. Though I forget where I got it, I know I wouldn't have paid that much for it.

Thanks, I did get the wrong link. I just didn't want to bug you. Started downloading it on soulseek but could only get the first six tracks. It's pretty interesting so far.

Haven't heard a note of this but that's 2 Live Crew or at least they had a song with that bit of poetry.

Just listening to this for the first time, and this is definitely a fun album. I'm gonna play it for my friends later tonight and see what the commonfolk think of it. Hot like fire, though.

Despite always having an aversion to Dj's "cuttin up da wax on da ones and twos" this shee ain't half bad...and alot of the records/mashes (bittersweet symphony vs. Jeezy) are pretty cool.

I don't know if I will make it through the whole album, but I could see putting something like this on a mix.

I love how he uses the guitar riff from "Stars" by Hum on one of the tracks.
