I watched it saturday night when it was on TNT, while I was drinking some very excellent Goose Island Kilgubbin Red Ale. I forgot how funny this movie is, especially the scene where Ray Liotta calls Pesci a funny guy.
I remember we had a thread about the soundtrack for this movie and I was wondering what song was being played when they wacked Billy Batts at the bar.

Top 5 all time for me.

It's so ingrained into my lexicon of knowledge it's scary. Someone quoted Tommy Two Times over some beers the other night ("Ima go get the papers, get the papers") and this set off a Goodfellas quoting session that went on for 20 minutes.

I could be wrong but I think it's the Donovan song about the being under the ocean. Cant' remember the name of it though. "way down below the ocean, where I wanna be......"?

Yeah I think they play the outro to Layla when they're showing all the dead people (couple in car, guy in meat truck).

I thought about changing by name to Sally Balls or Nicky Eyes. According to IMBD it is Atlantis by Donovan, but thanks for leading me in that direction.

I remember in college somebody posted a picture of Rollins on his door, I scribbled "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, HENRY?" in some of the pic's white space. Dude appreciated it.

Movies released in 1990

I dunno, I thought Dances With Wolves was pretty good when I saw it back then in the theater. Of course I was 15 and havent seen it since. Ditto with Awakenings. But look at the releases in that link...Holy Shitola!

Is that supposed to be a good year or a bad year. I've seen a ton of the those movies, and while I was entertained, it appears to be a rather shitty year for tinsel town.
