Pretty sweet album. About as bright as Yoshimi's previous work that I've heard, but this one incorporates some chanting that is reminiscent of baile funk kinda. Anyway, fans of the Boredoms and such will like this.

I'd like to hear this. They're sort of like Stereolab in terms of sticking with a general sound and maintaining a decent quality level.

For some reason, I own more OOIOO albums than I do Boredoms. All of them are pretty good, but none of them are great. I'm not sure if I'll buy any more.

Maybe because Boredoms are spotty on record. Their highs are highest though. Nothing comes close to "Vision Creation Newsun", and I'm actually not sure I like anything else on record I've heard.

I love Super Ae more than anything else the Boredoms or OOIOO have done. VCN is probably my second favorite and then OOIOO's Feather Float.

I don't know if I'd call Boredoms "spotty" (I was referring to OOIOO when I said I might not buy anything else by them), but I'm not crazy about a lot of their early spaz stuff, with a few exceptions. Wow 2 is great, but I think it's OOP so I don't have a real copy.
