my new uber-layout: separate folders for box sets, OSTs, and comps: From there, one folder for each letter of the alphabet. Solo artists are sorted by last name. I also add an extra folder level for multi-disc releases.

Examples: uberized rips\d\Ani DiFranco - Revelling Reckoning+\Ani DiFranco - 2001 - Revelling\

uberized rips\d\The Donnas - 1999 - Get Skintight\

When you sort out box sets, OSTs, and various artists, it's a lot easier for the op to check them.
