Is it worth over $42.50?

Usually I never go to a show if it's that much. And considering I didn't much care for Guero at all, I don't know. But a friend's insisting I do.

For Beck? Hrm...who's opening? I've never seen him live, but from the bootlegs I've heard he didn't knock me over, and I highly doubt he has a live show like KISS or something exciting like that. I would've paid that though to see him with the FLs on their last tour together.

he can be great, but that's a lot for a show. and though i've seen him at his best, i've not seen him play a show at that level in some time.
if you've never seen him before, then it might be worth checking out. if you have, and have previous good memories, i'd wait to hear the new record before i shelled out almost fifty bucks.

$42.50 CAN? that's about the same as what i paid to see him in 2003. i had a really good time. he played for about 2 hours and was very entertaining. i probably wouldn't see him again, but i'm glad i did see him then. no regrets.

A festival set length was enough for me, and I like pretty much everything he's done to some degree (faves are Mutations, Odelay, and Guero). EDIT: Worth seeing once, but use the opener to close the sale.

Puppets were cool at Bonnaroo. Yes, I was high.

for that price, if it's a great opener - then do it.

i love beck live. he's a great performer. but i wouldn't pay that much to see him (maybe because i've seen him a gajillion times).
