I posted this at another board, so I though I'd share the goodness with you:

•Line a baking dish with sliced onions
•4-6 lb. brisket, trimmed of most (but not all) fat - season w/ salt, pepper & paprika
•Place brisket, fat-side down, on the onions
•surround brisket with sliced green & red peppers and mushrooms.
•Add 1-2 Tbsp. of water to pan, to prevent scorching
•Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 4 hours
•Remove from oven, and top w/ a combo of catsup and brown sugar (ratio to taste)
•Put back in oven and bake another 1 hour
•Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing
•Serve with side dishes of your choice (usually farfel and kishke - ask a Jew what this is)
Minimal prep time. Super easy. Super delicious. And even better as leftovers.
I make it for company all the time, and am begged to make it over and over again.
Hope you try it and love it like we do.

I've recently noticed that all the unfortunate events in the lives of blues singers all seem to rhyme... I think all these tragedies could be avoided with a good rhyming dictionary.
