Has anyone heard this yet? It's called Origin Vol. 1 and it should have been released already. I'm a little curious.

I got it for Christmas and have it on CC.
I thought you hated the last disc.

After a few listens it sounds a little mellower than the last one, and by that I mean no tracks that stand-out as rawk.

Edit: It is still good though.

It kinda grew on me. I think it initially disappointed me cause I was expecting an album full of "Sister Surrounds" and didn't get it. After quite a few listens, the album isn't horrible. I would definitely give the band another chance cause I think they have some potential. I'd be curious to hear some of their new stuff.

If you see them live, you will be sold.

(and probably in love with their stage left guitarist. :P)

paint me disappointed. then again, i can't say i've ever been a fan of them. i just though half the songs were weak and the other half were fine with exception to the fact it was was to close to seventies rock for me to care.

See, this is exactly what I thought about their previous album. It doesn't look good for this one either.

i've been kinda underwhelmed by the new one after a couple spins, and i really liked the last one.

This is pretty much my take, too. It's a good record, but it doesn't grab me like "Behind The Music" did.

I think it comes out in the US in March - with a couple different tracks.

And if you're looking for more stuff like "Sister Surround" you'll probably like this one LESS.
