well, I think that if wal mart and such don't have them find a toys r us. they typically have them. The good long skinny yellow bats and real wiffleballs too

You should be able to find the standard wiffle bat & ball combo at a either a toy, drug, hardware, or dollar/discount store. I've seen them at all of those places.

depending on where you are wal mart can be iffy. In Indiana I tried to find some wiffleballs and the guy at the store said they didn't carry them at the time that we went because wiffleball is a "spring" sport.

I went to a wedding that had an awesome wiffleball match. The groom and myself were on a team. we were down by two. Two people on base. Two outs. Bottom of the last inning. I hit the game winning homer. yeah. I am THAT real.

Whiffleball is a staple of my life, in all seasons. I have about 5 different bats, with one of them wrapped in an entire roll of duct tape (we use that for hitting tennis balls). If I had a dollar for every game of whiffleball I've played in my life, I'd probably be able to make my car insurance payments this year (though I've probably exagerated that estimate a bit).

As for finding a bat in Boston, I would go with the others and say a toy/department type store might have one.
