I'm usually doing a couple of other things when online at home; like watching baseball, reading a book, talking to the wife and kids, etc. Just surfing would get old really fast.

Definitely, especially when I am actually not avoiding work and really have nothing to do in the office. I have it right now and there really isn't anything I want to watch on tv.

You read the book, mostly. And occasionally pause to scroll, click or view something online. The reading is active, the surfing passive.

I get work ennui, too. Double-bad problem.

Firefox's StumbleUpon extension is a pretty good cure for this.

I get that after work, mostly because I have done so much surfing at work.

During work, the internet computer is on my left, the Associated Press computer is on my right and an in-house automation computer is in the middle. So, I'm like Michael Matrix, except with ancient crap my boss is too cheap to replace.

We should start a surfer's anonymous club or something.

We could meet on-line.

"Hi, I'm Haxor1499, and I have a surfing problem."
