In reading that, I'm pretty sure it's the handiwork of a listener to the mid-day show on the sports talk station here in Dallas, because their producer is an A&M alum and the hosts insist upon deriding that team with the term "Aggy," instead of referring to them as "The Aggies." It's kind of a stupid gag, but also an obvious tell in that Wiki entry.

Like I said, it's stupid. I just recognized its use.

And here, I thought this was the part that was supposed to be funny.

Someone already did--Cotton's link is to an old revision. If you page through the versions, you'll see that this is an ongoing battle: "ankle, vagina; ankle, vagina."

I think I'm going to start a band called "ankle, vagina, ankle, vagina."

Also, I have lived in Texas for over 2 years, and I still have no idea what an "aggie" is, who or what they are "gig-ing", or what the hell gigging means. Whenever possible, I refer to A&M's team as the ATMs because that's what it says on their helmet. Kind of like that dude from ESPN who used to call the Tennessee Titans "the Flaming Thumbtacks."
