I do a lot of different things, always have lots of projects "on the go"... but damn, I've gotta say that in general I'm pretty frickin' lazy.

Exhibit A: I'm at work and all I can think about is going home, ordering dinner, and cuddling up on the couch with my honey. After that all I can think about is how I want to go for brunch this weekend and rent movies.

I sometimes think I'd be happy to just spend my life putzing around the house in my pjs; sleeping in, eating, and day dreaming.

What about you? Are you lazy?

edit: I had put in a "only sometimes" option... but it didn't apear.

I'm not lazy, I just avoid things. If it's something that I really want to do, I'll do it quickly and well. Otherwise, forget about it. I'm stubborn as hell.

Yeah, you need to click "add option" that last time before you post.

And I voted yes.

Let's just say that when it comes to things that don't pertain to my job, I'm absolutely not a "self-starter".

I can't same I am really lazy. When I have to work or do something important, I get it done. I just lack ambition and drive and won't go out of my way to do anything more than I have to for the amount of money I get.

A roommate of mine in college told me one time:
"It used to piss me off how lazy your are, but now I just have to stand back in awe, and admire it."

That said, I have NEVER been Lazy, I'm just EFFICIENT. Only the dumb do more than they have to to accomplish the job.

I am the laziest man alive. Polly seems to be laying claim to the female title. Yet, she somehow manages to remain fit and trim. If only I could manage similar results...

This is my correct answer, too. The extreme inability to do things that I don't want to do, and a great deal of success with things that I do.

I'm not really lazy. I walk everywhere. I go out on the weekend just for something to do, even if it's just going to the library, because I don't like sitting around the house all day.

This is me in a nutshell. I hardly did anything in college, but I did enough to get as good or better grades then my roommates, some of whom were honors students, others who busted their asses day and night to have a stellar GPA
As for my current job, I busted my ass like no other until I realized I was carrying our department and not getting a real raise for doing as much as I do, so I took it down a notch and only do what is required of me.

im not really sure. i do a lot of shit in my life, but seemingly I dont work at any of it very hard and still have success. so perhaps I am just efficient as gar says. i do enjoy just laying around though. my wife can never sit still...always has to be working on something. i could just lie on the floor and stare at the wall.

I'm incredibly lazy. I'm late to work most of the time, sleep at work and often don't take showers before work since I'm only going to get dirty and sweaty. I moved into a new room more than a month ago and everything's still not put away. After I wash my clothes, they usually just sit in a pile near my bed. I would rather buy take-out than cook myself. I haven't been to the gym in over a month even though it's practially down the street from me and costs more than I could probably afford right now.

I'll borrow a line from Larry Burns:

"Ah, relax. I don't wanna work. I'm so lazy, I took lessons on a player piano. Why, I'm like a rug on Valium, I'm talkin' lazy."
