And, the bed has been shit. Sorry, man, its harder when you think you have a chance, than if they come in and beat the brakes off you (see: UGA v. UT)

I was hoping to see Texas lose. Too bad.

Nebraska didn't shit the bed as much as give back a gift after Texas had shit the bed first.
Texas would have been up by 12 when the Huskers scored the go ahead touchdown, if they wouldn't have sucked it up on special teams
I was a little disappointed that we had the game and then let it slip away, but only due to the fact that alot of the Texas/Nebraska games since the Big 12 was formed have been like a lot of the OU/Nebraska games in the late 70's to mid 80's. Any sort of luck the Huskers had never matched the Sooner Magic and now the Longhorn's luck.
It really only sucks because the pollsters will probably drop us like a rock and say Texas is highly overrated too. If this would be the result of tonights GTech-Clemson game, they will say it was two great teams battling it out.

After a nap and checking the scores, I'm feeling even better about today. What the hell is happening to the UGA Defense? I'd much rather be a Husker fan after that loss than a Dawg fan after that weak victory over their fellow Bulldogs.
I'll be nervous the rest of the year and not take any game for granted. We still have three losable games that could turn us into a mediocre level bowl team without a North Division title. The only thing that makes me confident is that we moved the ball against a BCS top ten team and scored more points against Texas than Oklahoma did and only four points fewer than the Buckeyes did.

I have no idea, but whatever it is, they better figure out how to stop teams from scoring at will or it is gonna get UGLY in a hurry next week in Jacksonville.

I pretty much took the weekend off from the Dawgs and their woes--the game wasnt on TV and I only listened to 10 or 15 plays on the radio...

I was pulling for Nebraska though.

And I thank you
I believe most people wanted to see Nebraska win. While some people like FT only wanted the Huskers to win because their hatred of the Shorthorns eclipses their loathing of Nebraska. Others not on this board, would like to see Nebraska back on the national scene so they can take a big beating in a major bowl.

I want to know what the pollsters will think if Tennessee and Notre Dame go down too. I can't imagine the Bruins getting much love in the polls, but then again I can't really gauge them.

Fucking A. Way for those heralded "Blackshirts" to let a team march right down their home field in a blinding snowstorm to win the game. Nice fucking D, Pat. JEBUS!!!

As it turns out, they won't have to worry about the latter.

Not sure what sort of mattress fecal detection system you're employing, but it's obviously defective.

I was, too. That's what Nebraska gets for hiring a guy who THE RAIDERS didn't even see fit to keep.

By the way, Pat, I'm not trying to throw you personally under the bus, I'm just bitterly disappointed that Nebraska couldn't seal the deal.

Speaking of bed-shitting performances, FEMGAR's alma mater needs to wipe some pretty significant skids off the ol' Sleep Number, as well. That makes 3 top 10 teams (4, when you count #11 Cal) who should have lost but managed to have victory handed to them as the result of a major bed shitting (yes, I'm including Notre Dame).

Well, how can anyone keep a guy with a name like "Colt McCoy" down. Actually, Mack is the only one to stop him all year, with that conservative play calling against OSU

The Blackshirts played a brilliant game. I can't fault them one bit. It was a lack of a running game against the Texas D with some untimely turnovers and bad special teams early in the game that killed Nebraska
Texas averages 393yds a game and 42.7pts a game, Nebraska held them to 22pts and 321yds.
Nebraska just couldn't recover all the fumbles that Texas had, while Texas turned two of three turnovers into 10pts.

Also, They did not let Texas drive down the field. They fumbled the ball at their 45yd and forced Texas to kick a field goal after giving them a first and goal on a penalty.

All your points are correct, Pat, but I simply cannot allow the facts to get in the way of my bitterness.

Actually, I now do feel better about a possible rematch in the Big 12 Championship Game.
