Today: I've declared it to be a day dedicated to all that is me. I realize that I'm unemployed and theoretically everyday should be a holiday, but it's usually not. So I'm gonna sit and read and listen to music all day, catch up with old friends, then cook dinner (chicken scaloppine in a mustard cream sauce) and drink wine all night.

Sat/Sun: Gonna make up some 5-Alarm Chili today which usually takes awhile. After that, sit and eat chili and watch the rest of the season of The Wire. No other plans are on the horizon.

tonight I'm watching Slither at a friends and getting pretty baked.
tomorrow I'm taking out the little sister of one of my best friends. She's having a really really tough time right now so I've been recruited by said friend and their mother (this is one of several families that helped raise me) to take her out and get her drunk/cheer her up. I really don't know why I'm the go-to person for things like this.
sunday: help my lady friend study for the GREs and maybe make a mix. I doubt it though because I'm gonna wanna sleep in and be a lazy turd.

My Aeschylus essay is due in Monday. Current word count: 0

I wish I'd realised I was dumb sooner but then if I'd realised I was dumb I couldn't actually be dumb. Or at least not as dumb. To realise you were dumb you would have to be dumb if that conclusion was correct. If that conclusion was incorrect you would still be dumb. Rather it's the absense of realisation of dumbness that is confirmation of my dumb status, a status of really dumb over quite dumb.

Current word count: still 0

I've been debating this for Sat., but just can't see myself doing it.

I've been debating this for Sat., but just can't see myself doing it.

Been hyped pretty well here in the Twin Cities. It's billed as PB Wolf rotating rare funk from Gary Wilson to Dudley Perkins and underground East coast hustlers, Roc C to MED - not to mention the appearance of PERCEE P and Madlib. I'm pretty amped for this. AGAIN, only if I'm not on lockdown can I attend. With a new papoose & all, it's hard to get time off. You should take the sis, some morphine tablets & go. 12 dolla!

tonight: pet shop boys, then either a friend's dj residency or one of three parties. one of the parties is a "dead" wedding reception, so i'm still debating how to dress for that. (any suggestions are welcomed.)

tomorrow: catching up on some sleep and then probably watching football for most of the day. one of my friends has a gig at night, but it's in a neighborhood that's neither very fun to be in at night if you're white nor easily accessible from my home. i'll make a last-minute decision about that.

sunday is undecided.

Today: woke up hungover with a 6 am phone call (just like every day this week) asking me about ad traffic, and why we are not up with our new ad in the Huntsville market. Deposited a shit ton of money, and have been on the phone since 6am.

Tonite: Femgar is in Bombingham all damn day and night, so probably start guzzling booze around 4pm.

Tmrw: Dad's 60th b-day party at the family compound in CBus. World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, and probably the massive drinking.

Sunday: Blah Blah Blah Football/The Wire

Nice. I love days like that.

Me...

Today: home sick with a very bad sore throat... sleeping. (just woke up!)
Tonight: was supposed to DJ with a friend, not sure I'll make it.

Tomorrow: Halloween party at one of Senor Six's friends'.

Sunday: singing class (that is... if I can actually sing again by then).
