yeh, i dig n6th. sound was way sketchy at first but gradually got much better, now it's one of the few places in nyc that can hold a bunch of people and not rip you off in the process
bowery itself is a good venue, webster hall is a joke, i just hope n6th doesnt go the same way

me three. i don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, the bowery folks have great booking taste, and if the rumors I've heard are true about what they're planning on doing to Northsix (and galapagos), i'll be excited to see shows there. they've got the space and the funds to turn it into an even better venue.

i'm reminded of peter gatien's club empire in the 80's/90's
at what point does the quality start getting outweighed by the fact that one group controls 3 of the largest spaces in the city?
