A track from from the upcoming Sonic Youth rarities compilation titled The Destroyed Room: B-sides and Rarities is now available online. The album is due out December 12 via Geffen. The disc is the second release from the band in 2006, the first being the studio album, Rather Ripped.

Three of the 12 tracks are previously unreleased, and many are from their more recent output, including the 2001 Noho Furniture Sessions.

There's only gonna be 12 tracks? They really must be saving everything for future Deluxe Editions.
