I have laryngitis, no energy, could go for a long nap and have no desire to be in the office today. Woke up to rain which led to a two plus hour commute. While I do love rain, I hate two plus hour commutes.

I have the worst cold in the history of mankind, and none of my co-workers are giving me sympathy. Not even dirty looks that I should go home. screw them. sigh.

i am still waiting on confirmation about some figures that i need to proceed with a current project at work. (i've been waiting since last tuesday.) so, basically, i'm just trying to look busy until the analysts' contacts can confirm the figures are either correct (hopefully) or not (probably will lead to a lot of work to catch up). it seems the contacts are still on break.

i also have a lot of leftovers waiting for me at home. tonight will probably be the last leftover meal.

I am completely unmotivated to do anything except whine.

- someone moved all of my stuff around in the stockroom. left the rest of the fucking pig sty of a room intact, but moved my stuff. i can't find anything and i have a feeling that some of the materials have been thrown out which is a big no-no according to my director. i don't want to run and tattle since we're not in grade school, but i also don't want people touching my shit. - my stomach's been rejecting everything i've eaten since friday. damn digiorno pizza...

- i'm going to an art show opening on thursday which should be really neat. this guy walked from madrid to kiev and is putting his photographs on display.

I am with you, the crush of tourists last week drained all my energy and now I can't seem to get revved up for anything. Need to be doing something productive right now, but instead...........

Oh my God. The next few weeks could kill me.
I'm doing work for about 4 different departments, have a semester's worth of work to do by Dec. 20, have to get all my shopping done and — the topper — on Wednesday the editor totally magnified and changed the direction of what was already as sizable project, and put me in charge of it.

And I have 5 vacation days to burn somewhere in there, more than likely to do the above-mentioned course work.

Not a case of the blahs. More like the post-Thanksgiving "Yikes!"

today i've come to the harrowing realization that i will never catch up on sleep again.

i'm hoping to do so within the week... only had 4-6 hours sleep a day at best wed-sat nite.

ive felt this way for at least a month. i think its a combination of the weather, my job, and school is just beating me down

you need to have a talk with that kid and let him know what's up. not sleeping through the night, even if he is just a month old, is simply not acceptable. you can have rodney threaten to fire him or something.

the only thing keeping me going for this week are the beginning of the industry parties... got 2 this week, free food + open bar= FUCK YEAH!!!

when i was like 11, me and my best friend were camping in our backyard and we decided to wander around in the middle of the night. so we're walking up my driveway and we hear something in the yard next door so i shine my flashlight over there and this littler dog was screwing a bigger one and the big one got a little freaked out by the light and he took off, dragging the littler dog behind him. one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

but yeah, i kinda feel like i'm on the verge of getting sick this week. i'll have to put it off because a hot friend is visiting me tomorrow.

I want more food.
