Alright, soothsayers. Less than a month to this calendar year left. You're already listening to leaks and advances from the future. What's going to be ON IT next year? Albums, artists and movements that will be personally or widely significant.

A couple off the top:

Low "Drums and Guns" (setting up disappointment again?)
Pop Levi "The Return to Form Black Magick Party" (giving you all boners)
Earth "Hibernaculam" (flattening out the past)
The Bug "Jah War" single (battling rastafari)

i don't care what anyone says but i'm looking forward to the new modest mouse (strictly due to the addition of johnny marr).

new lcd is alright.
new air is okay. but nothing like moon safari or talkie walkie so don't get your hopes up.
shout out louds is supposed to have a new one coming out in april, but i think the release date got pushed back. very underrated band.
supposedly a band of bees (or the bees i should say) are to have a new one in '07 as well?
and yes on pop levi & !!!

Modest and Polyphonic I'm excited for. I'm not sure what else.

A lot of my absolute favorite bands released albums this year that didn't quite do it for me.

Tell me it's more enjoyable than 10,000 Hz.

Word!

I feel I slept in '06 when it came to new music, but in the end, did I really miss anything?

Thanks, but I'll wait for the street date. Have you listened to it?

I'm also kinda looking forward to the Modest Mouse album, and I think there's supposed to be an Akron/Family full length in '07.
