I bought the latest Irving album (Death in the Garden, Blood on the Flowers) a week ago and I can't take it out of my CD player. It gets better with each listen. I don't remember seeing it on anyone's list. Is this because no one has heard it or because of a lack of appreciation for great music?

y'know, i saw this band open for voxtrot in april and really liked them. i'd never heard of them before then. i talked to the singer for a few minutes afterward and picked up their last album because i didn't realize it wasn't the most recent. upon listening to it at home, i only recognized 2-3 songs from their set. obviously, it'd been heavy on the new album.

thanks for the reminder. this'd slipped off my list somehow.

i saw them open for blonde redhead a few years ago and was pretty impressed. never understood why the people that like pop so much haven't embraced them more.
