i'll probably end up hearing 160-ish albums that qualify for my 2006 list but filter it down to between 20-40.

albums i haven't even heard. there's just SO MUCH to listen to and not enough time

job + car = 98% of my listening time. i probably listen to 4-5 albums/weekday if my mp3 player is not on shuffle.

perks of working in a small office full o' freaks.

i wouldn't know what i would do if i couldn't listen to music at work. my commute time's only about 50min round-trip.

I know I was reading too much into your liking Nicolai Dunger, Van Morrison and Afrobeat but I'm always surprised when I see your lists how different they are from my own.

None of my top ten is in your Hott 100, there's no overlap between our top 20 and there will be 2 or 3 at most in my top 20 that made your Hott 100.

No props for Mono being #75 and having Built to Spill in the top ten.

that's the thing about this year. i really really like that mono album and it's #75.
