no blurbs...just another shitty list. i'm sure there is something here for everyone to make fun of.

i have to say,for me it's been a fantastic year for music and i really do like every single album on this list...even a lot of the stuff that didn't make it.

anyways, i'm glad this is over...i'm really tired of looking at this list. and sorry to the magic numbers who have been left off due to i really can't be bothered to rank another album.

Seriously. I'll be surprised if my album count this year hits 40.

Props for having Built to Spill in the top 10 and The Bishop at #17.

but the year's not over!!!

this kind of list takes time and effort across the whole year. apprec.

i'll probably end up hearing 160-ish albums that qualify for my 2006 list but filter it down to between 20-40.

job + car = 98% of my listening time. i probably listen to 4-5 albums/weekday if my mp3 player is not on shuffle.

perks of working in a small office full o' freaks.

I know I was reading too much into your liking Nicolai Dunger, Van Morrison and Afrobeat but I'm always surprised when I see your lists how different they are from my own.

None of my top ten is in your Hott 100, there's no overlap between our top 20 and there will be 2 or 3 at most in my top 20 that made your Hott 100.

Props for Juana Molina.... don't know why she is ignored.

If you listed 150, would Muse be 150?

No props for Mono being #75 and having Built to Spill in the top ten.

I suppose I won't share or take many music recommendations with or from you. :)
