so i have an old (5 or 6 years old) 15" nec lcd monitor for my computer. my folks have a spare 15" lcd tv (sharp aquos) that has rca outputs on the back rather than a more-monitor-like parallel out. is it worth it to switch the two and use the new one as my computer monitor?

1. do connecters exist that can convert the tv rca outs to something my mac can handle?

2. will my mac have a driver that can handle the new monitor?

3. will the resolution be any better or is it not even worth the effort?

danke. . .

you will most likely burn computer screen images into the tv screen, the resolution will probably not be as good for computer stuff, but will look better if you are watching videos.
