Pretty cool. I've seen them mentioned in several places but never heard them until now.

No idea where to start, but if you get one of those, let us know what you think.

Harsh 70s Reality. That is where it is at. Personally I love all their releases, but H7R is where I would start. Also, if you want a good overview I rec "Vain Erudite and Stupid: Selected Works 1987-2005". It came out in 2006 and covers a lot of ground.

Drinky, I'm surprised you don't own any of their stuff.

I dl'ed a bunch of their stuff too, but haven't gotten around to listening to it. This could be the kick in the ass.

I guess it's just a matter of having to order or download something as opposed to being able to pick up any of their albums in stores. And they're a little hard to search for on slsk.

based on what I've seen on yr lists/recs, I think you'd enjoy them.

Yeah, I've seen them recommended by several trusted sources. Just haven't gotten around to them yet.

Could be one of many pending mail orders for '07.

i ordered up "vein, erudite and stupid" and liked it so much i also grabbed "the white house", "trapdoor fucking exit" and "tusk" from siltbreeze. unfortunately they don't carry "harsh 70's reality" anymore. they have those releases for a mere $9! a piece. though, if anyone (drinky) wants i can up them.

let me know.

I'd like to hear one of them. Doesn't matter which one.

Eclipse has Harsh 70's Reality listed in their mail order section (for $14), and they're usually pretty good about not listing things that they don't actually have in stock. I've ordered from them several times. I may try to get that from them the next time I place an order with them.
