I applaud you for this. You are definitely not a homer. Well done!

If Tommie Harris weren't on the IR, the pick would definately be different. I just don't think we'd be able to get enough pass rush on Brees, and he's having a monster year.

I sucked with the preseason predictions of the NFL, so these shouldn't be taken seriously.

You're a good man, Scott, but I must call the Fishstick's sanity into question.

Dallas vs. Seattle is simultaneously both (by far) the worst game of the weekend, and the most difficult to predict.

Every one of your pics are legit, except Jets over Pats. Yeah, NYJ won at NE during the season, but c'mon...ain't no WAY it's happening in the playoffs.

I don't think it's that difficult to predict. Seattle has been pretty damn tough to beat at home over the last few years. Dallas' defense is awful, and Hasselback/Alexander are healthy again. I think it's gonna be a high scoring game, with the Hawks coming out on top. Something like 38-24 I'm thinking.

BUT Seattle lost to both AZ and SF at home in December, and has so many injuries in their secondary that they've signed a guy the Cowboys cast off before LAST SEASON. He's been out of football since then. Also, this is the battle of two of the all-time STB coaches: Parcells vs. Holmgren have each browned many a sheet in their day.

The Cowboys lose TWO playoff games??? They're bad, but that's unpossible!

it hurts me something bad to pick the Eagles that many times but I can't see a reason why not. Despite their injuries and quarterback "situation" the Bears are still dangerous because of where they play except against the Eagles. I don't see Soldier Field bothering that team at all.

Looking over those picks again though, I think the Ravens can probably beat the Pats. Dunno. Gotta think on that one.

Have a change of heart about that "first-round bye" for Seattle, FT?

And I must correct you---Seattle wasn't quite lame enough to lose to Arizona at home--that one was on the road.

I agree that it is the most difficult of the WC games to call.

More a moment of weakness than a change of heart. I know damn good and well that Seattle will win, but I'm stupid sometimes.

I will be shocked if either team is held below 30 in this one.

You were just dying to pat yourself on the back after those regular season picks, eh?

Wait, I was thinking of Promethium.
