Which one-album bands are your favorite? I'm specifically referring to bands from whom another album will likely never be heard, so please don't list Art Brut, Arcade Fire, etc.

Actual Tigers
David + David
Hindu Love Gods
Moods For Moderns
The Natural History
The Pattern

I would have included The Exploding Hearts, but I'm counting that posthumous compilation as a second album.

Nothing super-great comes to mind... the Amps?

Oh, I know. Deltron 3030!

A few little local bands I know, but they barely count.

The La's
Rockpile (at least under their own name)
Jeff Buckley (not a band, but I think you'll take it)

Urusei Yatsura, springs to mind.

It's been a while since that Sluts of Trust album, will there ever be another one?

And, hey, I just found out Bantam Rooster made three albums. Whodafunkit?

Does the Sex Pistols count? They only really made one 'proper' album.

A pretty major one that we all forgot:
Sex Pistols

I think that one would make pretty much all of our lists.

You want 2 Live Crew, I think.

You're on the wrong board, too. Go to rap/hip-hop.
