so i have a friend who has a team to audition for the world series of pop culture in nyc in two weekends time. one member flaked and i'm in. our team name is "jammin' on the 1"

anyone else doing this?

after destroying the tv competition last year, i really wanted to do this, but most of my friends have the same strengths that i do. key categories that i'd die on are horror films, 90s rap music, and music videos.

i'm not fast enough to be on a game show. after every question, i'd buzz in and yell, "WAIT! WAIT! i know this one!" and then my team would hate me.

They asked Bill Simmons (aka the Sports Guy from ESPN.com) if he could go on the show who he would pick as his partners. He said he would take Chuck Klosterman and Dikembe Mutombo, because he and Klosterman wouldn't need any help and he thought it'd beb funny to see Mutombo up there. I thought that was a good answer.
