haq got me a cat for christmas, so we recently adopted it and he's been home now for a week. his name's django. he's about one and a half years old. he's a very well-behaved kitty and is very chatty and sociable.

I AM NOW A PART OF THE CAT-OWNING CULT. thus, here's some pictures.

He's beautiful, Katie. It's moments like these that make me love being a human. Every person in this world should adopt a pet.

Ohh katie he's beauteous, I love kitties.

This is such a fun age with them. Our little one about the same age and he's such a hoot. He runs laps all around the place hopping off of things as he goes along.

Ohh you'll have so much fun.

now I want another one. :D

Awesome except cats hate me. This is most likely due to the fact that they can see my evil soul.

I posted eons ago in one of Ish's 'kitten' threads that my old puss was called Django. Well, his full name was Johannes von Django Reinhardt III, but you get you the picture. Rescued the little rascal from being euthanized, and then he hightailed it out of our old apartment less than a month later. Like most Americans, he loved his freedom too. We never found him. Good thing, because I realized soon after we saved him that I really do hate cats.

I'm not a fan of the feline persuasion, nor those miniature pups that think they're cats.
Give me a big, stupid dog anyday - but everyone should have something to love/care for. That's why I got some sea monkeys and a boot for christmas.

I named the boot "Flip-Flop", after John Kerry.

Never really understood the whole "dog person", "cat person" thing.

Either you love animals or you don't and I consider it a major character flaw if you don't.

Djanjo looks adorable, although, he probably would like it if you stopped flashing that light in his eyes.

I like that last picture -- it kinda reminds me of the cover of Afghan Whigs' Gentleman, except instead of kids, a cat. A 'morning after' shot, if you will.

PS He is beautiful.
