how do I find a picture thats the right size for an avatar?

so I want a cool pic beside my name but am not sure how to acquire one

find any picture and use something like gimp or paint.net to scale it to the right size.

Go to Google, type in "horseface", and hit search.
Click "Images" at the top.
Find your favorite.
Save it to your computer.
Resize it so it fits the proper requirements.
Upload it to your profile.
