"You Get What You Give" was a perfect single.
Love that song.

Only heard the whole album once, though and I remember being vaguely disappointed by it.

It's a good rekkid, but Borg's interest verges on stalker level.

In 2003 a new Alexander track, "A Love Like That", was released uncredited on the Internet. It was suspected to be a New Radicals outtake,

I never got into these guys. Most likely due to my initial exposure being through their hit single which I detested.

The lead singer always struck me as a jack ass in every interview I ever saw with him.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes him. He was one of those people I saw on MTV that was so adamant about being indie/non-commercial, yet seemed to bask in commercial success.
He and White Town always seemed to bug me when I saw them on tv.

Though to his credit, Alexander broke up the group, didn't record another album and walked away from the spotlight on purpose. It wasn't because they had lost popularity at the time.

He was a serious jackass. A poster boy for the idea that perhaps musicians should refrain from talking and just play the fucking songs. The album wasn't too bad actually.

Didn't you watch MTV in 1997? That song was huge.
