There's video of it. It's on Youtube. She never really comes out and says it directly. She says, "I was going to talk about the other Democratic candidate, John Edwards, but apparently you have to go into rehab now if you say the word faggot."

Coulter sees the world in black and white. She's white (Connecticut white) and everyone she doesn't like is black (New York black). You're either a good conservative, or an evil liberal, there are no in betweens. Or to quote from Coulter on "swing" voters:

A person, a real flesh and blood human being, has a complex, confused, and sometimes even contradictory way of looking at the world. She might be pro-death penalty, but also pro-government provided health care; anti-gay marriage, but pro-choice on abortion; opposed to both the missile shield and the estate tax. So how does she vote? Conservative or liberal? A complicated world cannot be broken down into simple either/or political philosophies. To do so is simpleminded.

This, in the end, is Coulter's most serious flaw as a pundit. She believes that there are really only two kinds of people in the world: those who agree with her and those who are evil and stupid liberals. Only she, and those who agree with her, has a monopoly on goodness and truth. If not stupid, at the very least this makes her very, very blind. And her blind hatred of liberals makes her a bitter and nasty voice on the political landscape. Dare I say, a force for evil?

Although I agree, it's precisely that point that makes her voice so dangerous. If this is truly a "comedy" act, Coulter needs to develop some sense of personal responsibility over how she makes money.

I have a feeling she really is a smirking opportunist, but unlike Stephen Colbert or Sarah Silverman who are simply about entertaining while in character, Coulter's smirking opportunism has a damn creepy agenda under the mascara and blonde hair.

She's either laughing to the bank while secretly giggling at the idea anyone would believe her crap or she's one of the most prejudiced fuckers in America. Either option brings up the queasy question of why people give her a platform.

Clearly she is an opportunist, and says things intentionally for shock, even entertainment, value. She is funny to me; the TS you love to hate... you know, verbal abuse, humiliation, power exchange...

But check out the video of her being confronted on the Today show about her acid bitchy critiicism of the "wives of 911." She has a manic, obssessive hate pretty clear to the surface. She's pathological and poisonous about her politics and the fact it's funny to almost everyone doesn't alter the fact that she's a fascist she-wolf who probably masturbates watching snuff films of children dying of extreme poverty.
