The Everly Brothers - Cathy's Clown. I'm not sure if any of the Beatles early singles even match it. It's pure greatness.

I was just talking the other day about the fucking genius of The Everly Brothers--their music is almost like the best work of Dylan where I can't even imagine how or why the fuck they came up with and recorded it.

Cathy's Clown is a monster.

No if it were a poptodd thread, you'd open up the thread and find some ysi or youtube that was unlabled and have to decide whether you were curious enough to explore further. :lol:

yeah i really dig the everly brothers. and cathy's clown is a great tune, especially if you knew a girl in college named cathy who had a loser always hanging around her.

My boss made me add their last single "On The Wings Of A Nightingale" to the music library simply because he likes it. It was nowhere near a hit, but he owns the station.

So, there's thousands of actual hits he doesn't like.
