the venue
cobb coffeeshop
had a 125 capacity

free show
no advance tickets

but
i thought
i would make
the cut
(there were about
400 people after me)
but
these dumb sluts
that put this show together
kept letting
their friends in
to get wristbands
and
when they
opened the doors
for the
rest of us

i think
the line inched
about 10 feet
until it was sold out

but
the good news
is that i went to
the beat kitchen
and saw

FT (the Shadow Government) easily the best live band i've seen
and
TODD

there was a band in between too but i dont recall the name

it was a killer show
but still
hard not to be pissed
bout that drive
and that wait

you know, i was going to go until i discovered that the venue is about the size of my apartment and it was raining. so i just stayed home and watched basketball. sorry to hear that.

i looked through the windows
they could easily and illegally fit 350 in there

Saw LB last week. I think the place went over capacity and got shut down buy the fire dept and coppers. Or maybe that wasn't the case.

I would enjoy seeing Lightning Bolt... but not as much as other bands who do their thing better.

yeah i was gonna try and see them in nyc with the death set but it's during the week and i don't see myself going down there just for a day. so i'm going to see the death set in may in nyc and xbxrx is playing somewhere up here around the same time.
