they had some kid playing "Even Hitler Had a Girlfriend" on This American Life the other day and I thought of these guys for the first time since 1995 or so.

Saw those guys on the same bill with Boris the Spider. And I went to the show with a friend of a friend who was in the original lineup of The Methadones. Just weird to see all those names in the same place.

Have a great time, Mark!

They were all Green Day contempories that never made it huge like G.D. did. (Mostly) the same kind of pop-punk. At least the bands on that list that I do know.

they've been around for 20 years or so. if that depresses you, i'm sure the Rolling Stones want to make you commit suicide. Though Dr. Frank of MTX is embarking on a writing career so I don't know if they'll be around much longer...

Yeah, Mr. T Experience have been around a long time and have some really fun songs like "Danny Partridge," "Velveeta," and "Slagbag." Dr. Frank's (nee Frank Portman) book King Dork is really a great, fun book about a kid growing up and the influences on his life, including music.

Tentoze - I can't imagine this type of your music is your thing, but I've been wrong before.
