just joking, I'm pretty sure that website's only for evangelical christians. apparently they don't match you up with anyone unless you believe in god.

music-related, at least mostly. i still browse the roboto board in pittsburgh because, even though i don't jive with many of them, they're pretty knowledgeable. and if i ever needed something pittsburgh-related while i was there, that's where i asked. same goes for antiboard in philly when it was at its height a few years ago.

basically, i'm wondering what the indie-rock dance scene is like in chicago. does it even exist? we've got making time and sorted in philly, there's motherfucker in nyc (among many others), the pill or the plan in boston, and stuff like mousetrap and confusion in dc. i love going to those nights and i'm looking for one here now.

Jim Derogatis and Greg Kot (the Chicago Tribune and Sun Times music critics. They have a radio show with some archive episodes and such where they dicuss music and such. They also have a pretty good message board.)

I used to post there often. It would be my CMJ's down again vacation spot. They reset the board awhile ago so I only have a few posts to my credit now.
