I choose Amos, the lab / pit bull mix

The Puppy Bowl is on until 3am. Whenever a puppy has an accident, the ref calls it an "intentional grounding" puppy foul. So weird and awesome.

I flipped this on to check it out, and wound up watching for 45 minutes before I even realized it.....

I went to MTV at half, followed by VHI, Fuse, and finally VHI Classic... only VHI classic was playing music. 4 music channels and only 1 playing music, and that was ELO. sad times we're living in.

I watched puppy bowl. I particulary liked the biege dog who was hyper just yapping and yapping and being a pest to the other dogs. Not sure he had a bloodline beyond mutt. Damn, that was a cool dog. The labs and bigger dogs were just wanting to fight or hump. Smartest dog seemed to be the boxer puppy. He seemed to have it all going on.

I was definitely transfixed by these puppies licking out of their bowl with a camera at the bottom seeing them step on the dish and ending up wet. I don't know what's worse, me forcing myself to turn away from the puppy bowl for the second half, and I did miss the beginning of the second half, or that Animal Planet is selling a DVD of puppy bowl on their website for 9.99... I'm considering buying it. Like I said, I was transfixed and it made me happy.

Yeah, I checked it out after the game briefly. I was mostly just confused.

Was the point just to show puppies playing?

If the answer is yes then see Grape Ripple's quote.

Was this the little black one with the red collar? My husband and I nicknamed him "the Scrapper." He was adorable and in everyone's face!

I also was partial to the chow/Shepherd mix. The little Jack Russell terrier was pretty cute too.

Watched this at halftime with Louie. It was funny to watch him watch it so intently. Since he's so small & young he has very little experiance with other dogs. I hadn't seen him watchg TV with that much focus since he freaked out over Charles Barkley a month or so ago.

Ah, here's Captain Kool... I don't remember them though. I thought a picture might jog my memory.

Not really - they trust you since you feed them, so a lot of times they'll just sit there and take it.

Looks like my favorite was actually Dena, although Amos was very, very cute. You can vote for your MVP here:

Heh...this is similar to my take - I axed Mrs. Dawg "Remember when everyone thought having 500 channels was gonna be so awesome?"

I enjoyed watching the doggies goof around for about 20 minutes, but at the same time I was laughing over the fact that this was an actual TV show.
