Well, I've never use torrents before but I appear to have signed up correctly for OINK. However, everything I attempt to download anything I get an error message saying "problem connecting to tracker." Any suggestions?

I just read that as "Well, I've never used tourrette's before...". I think I need to take a break.

i've had this problem before, try downloading something else or just leaving it awhile. Also download BitComet which is like a download organiser for Bittorrent.

I'm trying to figure this shit out right now with little luck. I can download stuff, but I've uploaded two albums and it doesn't seem to be registering them. I mean they popup when I search, but it's no showing them in my profile thingy in the top left corner. Doe people have to be downloading them in order for them to show up there? I've had the account for exactly 2 hours, so it might just be that the account's still new. any advice on this? I don't understand this torrent shit.

I use Azerus. All of a suddent my Azerus is telling me that I am firewalled and won't let me connect to the whole system. It's pretty lame. I have a .916 ratio right now and I can't get past this idiotic NAT error B.S. I am wondering if the people I am stealing internet connection off of have done something different with their router.

Yeah. You'd need to forward ports to get around the firewall but since you're using someone else's internet connection, you might be effed.

It worked again tonight. I am now up to .929 but it doesn't tell me how many users are online, etc. But, we'll just let it move at a slow pace.

I still can't do a fucking thing to raise my ratio. I think I set this up wrong o something, because my ratio still blows and I leave this thing on for hours at a time.

Upload your own stuff, make sure that you can actually seed, also. It can be tricky at first.

On a side note, Im surprised how many of 'us' are on there.

I used to be on there, and my ratio was top notch baby. But then I didn't use it for not even that long and I got the boot. Poor me.

I've uploaded 2 albums, but it would seem that the last Slumber Partty record isn't a huge hit on there. I forget what else I did.

any idea on how I would actually check that? I mean, I have an existing ratio (.042 or something), it just sucks.

i dunno...upload some stuff, see if it gets snatched and see what your UL speed is when that happens. I have an average speed and I could upload a max of about 2 gigs per day (never happens)
