Otis Redding sings "Cherry Cherry" (Neil Diamond).
You know that would rule.
Think about it, Otis singing:
SHE GOT THE WAY TO MOVE ME, CHERRY...
CHERRY BABY...

If Sly can make "Que Sera Sera" soulful, why not this?

I know.
It's been a while.

It's called a "m u s i c t h r e a d"...

It's okay.
You'll be all right.
But will the board survive?

I'm still hoping Ted Leo will see one of these threads and finally take my suggestion to cover the Boz Scaggs classic "Lido Shuffle."

Wu-Tang needs to do a cover of David Allen Coe's "Some Niggers never die. (They just smell that way)"

I really want to hear a Jesus and Mary Chain version of the National's "Apartment Story". Seriously, the Reids need to get on that.

I heard "Night Moves" earlier today and thought it was Deer Tick before Deer Tick was Deer Tick, right down to the overly raspy vocals.

So, I want Deer Tick to cover "Night Moves."
