Does anybody wanna be my friend? I can use the help in finding new movies to put in my queue. Of course, you'll have to endure my countless reviews and ratings... :D

I just need your E-mail address and we're done. You can PM it to me if you don't want to post it in this forum.

I just rented Oldboy and Dark Water. I'll let you know how they are when I'm done.

If you're all about new movies and/or feel that you've seen all the older stuff I wouldn't be much help.

However, if you're looking to expand your cinema sights to films of the 40's-70's I'd be happy to suggest stuff.

I had netflix and dropped it for blockbuster's version.
It's cheaper ($17.01 counting tax where netflix is like $19.00).

Right now I have in my que...

Reno 911 season 1

The History of Wrestlemania (I just want to see Steamboat vs Savage in Wrestlemania III, the greatest match in the history of wrestlig)

Alien vs Predator (the movie sucked as bad as i thoguht it would)

Ren & Stimpy season 1

Justice League Unlimited

Garden State (just want to see it for the eye candy)

I'm trying to get Batman the animated series season 2

The Jerk (it sucks because it's a very long wait)

One thing that netflix has over blockbuster's site is that they have a more extensive cult classic list of dvds (Blood Sucking Freaks)

These are not the greates movies I have in my que, but I buy all the dvds that I really want to own. I pretty much joined it so I can see the series/sketch dvds (Band of Brothers/Sopranos)

My email is gregorypeveich@hotmail.com if you need any ideas.
I love movies and be more than happy to help you out.

Give me an idea of what films you like and I will do my best.

Oh, one more reason why Blockbuster is beter is that they also give you a two week free trial, but they do not hold your money like netflix does.

They will charge you as soon as your two weeks is up

AND....you get two monthly coupons for a movie or game (at the store only)

actually netflix has more of everything [docs, indies, horror, foreign].

also, netflix is only $17.99 a month.

Blockbuster doesn't have the anime netflix has either. The first two series I checked (Last Exile and Banner of the Stars) Blockbuster didn't have but netflix did.

Netflix is so much better. So this weekend I'm getting my first 3 DVDs...
P.S. (starring Laura Linney and Topher Grace)
I Stand Alone (from the director of Irreversible)
Strayed (a French film starring Emmanuelle Beart and Gaspard Ulliel of A Very Long Engagement).

I can't wait.

Why support Blockbuster when you can support their competition.

Blockbuster is the Empire. The only thing they lack are a Death Star (AT+T has it) and some droids.

Did you bastards ever rent "Elling" like I told you to?

blockbuster
-started by super-christian wayne huizenga, who also owns the miami dolphins. sold to mega-conglomerate viacom , which also owns cbs, upn, showtime, nickelodeon, b.e.t., infinity broadcasting, mtv, cmt, vh1, spike tv, simon & schuster, paramount pictures, you, and more.

also, they carry edited movies, so good luck watching the original versions of sexed up movies (y tu mama tambien). you'll be better off with netflix.

i went to my local blockbuster (i know it's not the same as the mail deal thingy) and they did not have a copy of the godfather/pt 1. it wasn't out--they did not carry it. and weren't going to replace it. i'm horrified.

found a copy somewhere else so my son and i are watching it tonight. yay.

edit: oh yeah, chris: i am really enjoying your movie site.
