Saw a little bit on this band. Pretty cool concept. They travel around in a school bus, which is a converted venue on wheels. They pull up, you go in, and they rock your face off.

Passed these guys on the way home from the Dodger game yesterday - it was parked at (the actual) Echo Park. Music sounded pretty good from outside of the bus - I thought they were just practicing, but it might've been a show at 4:30 in the afternoon...

There's a bus that does the same thing in San Francisco that puts on some really awesome shows. You get an email telling you where/when the bus is going to park, then it shows up & the bands all play on the street...

dunno. Not that I religiously follow PF, I didn't see anything on it in their coverage of SXSW.
