did anyone see the Daft Punk directed movie Electroma? i looked for a thread on this and couldnt find one.

I bought it, and watched it and liked it. Its about two robots quest to become human. The visuals are stunning, and the feel is very eerie. If you dont like long slow moving scenes, then it wont be for you, but i kinda like that (Jarmusch's Dead Man is also like that and one of my favorite movies ever)

The soundtrack strangely does not include any Daft Punk music, but rather stuff by Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, Sébastien Tellier, Curtis Mayfield, Linda Perhacs, Jackson C. Frank and Mathieu Tonetti.

if you want production and release history check out wikipedia. Spoiler alert though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electroma

Its on my netflix queue. It seems like a film that would be great to watch late at night.

I watched it and well... it looks pretty good, although, yes, it's a bit silly.
