i heard this song on wmbr (mit's station) last week and it cracked me the fuck up. it's causing me to rethink my aversion to reggaeton or at least rethink my all-out ban. sounds like reggaeton's version of biz markie.

I seriously thought this was gonna be about something like fossils of a new cousin of carcaradon megalodon being discovered.

mumbled vocals were originally laid down as a rough skit with a view to writing "proper" lyrics later but because many loved what he had recorded, they decided to keep the original version

. . .

BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills started a campaign on October 30, 2006 to get the song to #1 in the UK singles chart

It is one of the current at-bat songs of New York Mets shortstop José Reyes and Cleveland Indians third baseman Andy Marte. Additionally, Arizona Diamondbacks Catcher Miguel Montero used this song in the 2007 season.

i can't stop listening to this. . . the descending part where he sounds like a guy with down's trying to sing and the part where he sings over "the breaks" are seriously killing me and i catch myself giggling like a second grader who just heard someone say the word "boobs"
