Anyone read about this?

In the latest Rolling Stone Hawke has an article he wrote about Kristofferson in which he includes an anecdote from Willie Nelson's birthday party at which an unnamed modern country singer told Kristofferson "None of that lefty bullshit tonight, Kris." Kristofferson then lay into the guy, asking if he's ever fought for his country or killed a man, and gave the guy shit in front of a crowd including Hawke, Nelson, and Ray Charles. Kristofferson then turned to Hawke and said under his breath, "Guys like that are doing to country music what pantyhose did to fingerfucking."

So, despite Hawke only implying who the person was and not explicitly stating a name, Keith has come public and said it was him and that the only reason Ethan didn't print his name was because he's afraid of him. And, of course, he now wants to kick his ass.

i'm surprised this article hasn't been mentioned yet, it's obner catnip.

something about Ethan Hawke being the source for this really bothers me. That pantyhose line was WASTED on that guy.
