In Utero has actually gotten even better over time. Incredible record.

Low. His best, imo.

I was a late comer to this one, so I need to live with it a little more, I think.
However, just about anything Eno touches is pure gold.

As much as I love Bowie, In Utero is a genius.

Really tough call between In Utero and Low. I voted for the former, although I really hope both make it through this round.

Wu-Tang is great, too, of course.

I never really liked Document very much.

low. maybe just because it's out of bowie's berlin era and it somehow delivers this strange 80s west berlin vibe to me.

See, a grouping like this isn't even fair.

Even though this has become my favorite Nirv rekkid, and one of my faves of the decade, I had to vote for Wu -- that shit turned rap on it's head.

It wins if just for the "Torture" skit.

I voted A Guy Called Gerald out of protest. it can't be by accident that you have such great groupings and such shitty groupings so early on.

agreed. there shoulda been power-rankings first on each album so that this shit didn't happen.

Agreed, you could have done this using the listmania ranking, and broke them down into five album pairings.

I went with In Utero for its sheer brilliance, but Document holds a special place in my heart and is my favorite R.E.M. behind Murmur.
