anyone watching season 5?
I just got a few episodes...

I just was in Southern Cal at the Mexican border and there is indeed a mall that is RIGHT up at the fence...I took pictures but have not uploaded them.

I've been watching - I still don't know what to think of the show since they left Agrestic....it is still pretty funny, but it hasn't been as consistent. I also don't know if I find the Nancy Botwin character to be particularly sympathetic any more - she just seems to continue to get herself in deeper and deeper trouble and a lot of it is due to her selfishness - in the first couple of seasons it seemed like she was doing a lot of this for her kids - now it just seems to be to cover her own ass. Don't even get me started on the Celia character....I like Elizabeth Perkins enough, but the Celia character is just grating to me.

the real fun is if you go to the Tijuana Estuary just west of the crossing on the north side... just footprints and discarded shoes/water jugs. And CONSTANT border patrol SUVs.

I have never seen this show.

it has definitely gone down hill since they left Agrestic.
It's not as lighthearted and funny anymore.
I miss Conrad.
He was the most likable character.
Doug is amazing though.
