This is the first round of the tournament stage. Please vote for the album that you feel should move on to the second round.

To encourage as many votes as possible, the deadline to vote will be Friday at 1:00PM Eastern.

Aeroplane is a great album but it's up against one of the best albums of all time.

This thing is going to end up as "What's Your Favorite Beatles Album?"

Also - OPA - you should have a 24 hour voting period, and at least 4 active polls up at once.

Yeah, this thing is moving as slow as the board itself.

I didn't want to flood the board with this so I'm only doing two match-ups a day. Should I do four?

Yeah, four is totally reasonable and it will certainly annoy some people, so in essence, entertainment is guaranteed.

It will only annoy those too dumb to keep up.

Also - OPA, why don't you put the name of the album or artist in the thread title?

they all look pretty similar. Maybe Bracket 2, Match 2 MBV v The Bleatles.

i don't mind NMH, but the adoration seems kind of arbitrary to me.

I voted NMH, since it was one of my picks. The Beatles will win, and justifiably so, but it would be nice to see them lose once or twice.

Wow...no love for NMH? Haha...in all seriousness, I tried to listen to that album recently and it just hasn't aged very well for me.

Oh, crap, did NMH draw a lousy seed.
But I agree completely with the above statement.

Still, I listen to Aeroplane more.

Went with Abbey Road- sorry, I cant vote for an album that is, 85% of the time, sung out of key, against Abbey Road- no matter how much I enjoy Aeroplane.. or at least used to.
