Hey folks, I'll be in Atlanta Sept 15-22. I'm posting this with the hopes that Derris will see this, since I think he's the only ATLer here that isn't on Facebook. Let me know if y'all want to meet up at any time. I'll be spending the 15-18 (maybe longer) with my folks in PTC. Maybe a meetup at Redlands?

PM me.

I just realized the Gar's are gonna be here on Tuesday night so Partner's is probably out for me. If you wanna stop by afterward for some awkward conversation with our wives, bring it.

Last I heard, Derris is gonna be in Nashvegas Thu - Sun of this week. I'll be in ATL on Sat night, but for a bachelor party, so a meeting and/or YLT is highly unlikely. I do know we're watching the UGA/AR game here, but after that, I'm guessing debauchery will ensue. Let's just say I requested Candy.

Stu, going to a bar to watch a UGA game, as much as I love so many of my UGA alum friends, would be tantamount to treason. Don't forget, I'm a Tech girl.

I'll be in Atlanta Monday and Tuesday of next week. Currently no plans yet, but might be chauffeuring my sister around during the day Tuesday for some medical appointments she has. Could potentially do some nosh/drinks either night though.

yes, I'm aware. And judging by this post in the College Football thread, I wouldn't bank on Derris hanging out

Stop acting like you've even watched a game in years.

As stu said, I'm leaving Thursday night for Nashville and won't be back until Sunday night.

If you guys want to meet up for anything Monday or Tuesday I'm up for whatever. Can't promise another night like last time though d.

Openly didn't even make it to work the next day.

True dat. Living in the PacNW has wonderfully freed me from all things football, thankfully (and really, who would root for a team with mascots like the "Ducks" or "Beavers?"). But yeah, I caught a peek at the rankings. Remember, it's early in the season. Tech has plenty more opportunities to fuck it up. They always do.

OK, I currently don't have anything going on Monday or Tuesday night, and yes, I assure you, no crazy drinking like last time. I'll keep you posted either through PM or email. Have fun in Nashville!

Hanging at Redlands can now be marked off the list of things to do before I die. Got to finally meet Diamond Dave and his lovely wife (and both Chris and Dave's bebes). Unfortunately I was double-booked on dates last night, so I didn't get over there til 9:30 or so, and the poor new fathers were yawning most of the time I was there. I'd like to think it was due to lack of sleep vs. my boring banter. ;)

Derris, hope we can make plans on Monday or Tuesday night; Bloor said he might *try* and join us if we do.

btw, the top of my head comes up to Dave's armpit.

We had fun. It was good to put a person with a board personality, and it is funny that D and I's houses were not 1/2 mi apart, we went to the same HS, and we met on a message board....

Thanks for the coffee!!

Is this the Candy to whom you're referring?
