i just go it a few weeks ago. i'm pretty pro at all the wii sports and i'm halfway through Mario Galaxy which I'm borrowing from a friend.

really good games that will hold my interest is what i want, but two-player games that I can play with my wife would be cool too.

Mario Kart
Metroid
Punchout

Super Smash Brothers seems to be in the slot more than anything else at home, especially if you have a bunch'o players.

No, and some people really don't like using it.

It comes with one, though, and it's $10 to get another one. I like it, personally.

The last console I bought was the original XBox about 2 years after it was initially released.

I don't play it very often but a couple times a year I'll get completely consumed with a game for whatever reason. The last 2 times were NCAA Football and Halo 2.

Knowing this, would a Wii change my interest level in gaming?

I always did like some Mario Kart and I've always been intrigued by the Tiger Woods Wii game.

I have both a Wii and an Xbox 360. We actually got the Wii mainly for the Kart racing, which is still fun. It was fun on SNES and it's only gotten better. We like the SuperMario Smash Brothers too for head to head games. Plus you can download all the old console games too.

My boss got me an Xbox 360 as a Lab Exit gift, which was strange as I'm not much of a gamer at all, save for the aforementioned games. I do like the console though as I can stream all kinds of media through it from the laptop, and like the Wii, the games you can download are cool. I'm playing the original 'Doom' right now, which I haven't played in about 15 years I guess.

I'd say probably not.

It's good for two things primarily: party/"pick-up-and-play" games and classic Nintendo games (both the new titles and downloading the old ones).
