It's pretty great. Just good rock'n'roll. If I started a band, I'd like it to be something like this.

I really really like the album. Do you have a live link to a version that doesn't have a messed up track 4? I believe mine cuts off after 20-30 seconds.

didn't everyone rag on this band when they were the Muslims?

I've seen them a few times...only because I live in San Diego

i've seen them twice. the first time as muslims was pretty raw, but with flashes of brilliance. the second time, last september, was excellent. maybe it's just cause they headlined over an extremely fidgety smith westerns, but they sounded tremendous and tight as a drum. my friend and i were really impressed and we both dislike a lot.

I'm exhausted just from watching that. All those load ins/outs, for 15 minute sets, damn.

RIYL: basic O3CGR, solid songs, nondescript vocals

It's decent for what it is, but this thread is waaaaay overplaying the praise. Tanner's first post had it close to right. FT's reaction is just hyperbolic silliness.

exactly. Solid, enjoyable, probably won't last more than a few months in medium rotation. Fun band.
