I've entered a writing contest at xtremtravelstories.com where the story with the most and best votes wins $100. couldn't you just sell some crap on craigslist and make a hundred bucks a lot easier?

eh, it's not really about the money, I just like writing. If I can makes some money while doing it, then why not.
