....like "this is the best Darkthrone tune ever", and "holy shit, BEST METAL TRACK IN A DECADE", let's hear what the Ob's think about this.

Even if you have no interest in Metal or Punk, check it out and post your opinion.

serious question: are the vocals supposed to be funny? They are humorous to me and I don't know if I'm in on the joke or laughing at them. I enjoyed the rest of the song.

guitar tone is pretty cool

is there no bass, or is it just not prominent?

I'm down with it. Could have stood for a bit more flair in the guitar work, but the vocals were fun as hell.

that was really terrible. And I used to worship Helloween so I'm not metal-biased.

I liked this, the kind of old school metal that doesn't get made that often anymore.

I can see how some people might not like the singer though.

the music is okay, that's really oldschool. the vocals are ridiculous, but that seems to be their chosen distinguishable element...

everything is recorded so well and deliberately and then the vocals sound like they were recorded on the stock mic of a laptop.

this is kind of their take on Epic Heavy Metal from the 80's. the vocals are way over the top for that reason.

There is a bass in the recording, it's juist buried. And I've heard worse, but it's pretty goofy.

No clue what guitars they're playing and all that but, to me, it sounds like they're using Marshall JCM 800's, which was the preferred amp for almost any british metal or hair metal band that came out of the early 80's.

I just hear a sped up Judas Priest or Scorpions in the actual music. I keep waiting to hear Rob Halford's high pitch squeal over CIRRRRCLE THE WAAAAAAGOOOOONNNSSS.

The music is okay I guess. As a kid in the 80's this was the first kind of metal sound I came across (pre-Metallica/Slayer). Just seems that you have to really commit to this stuff to overlook the almost cartoon-ish vocal delivery.

Well-put.

...and the amp of choice for Jackson Hunt. :rawk: I miss that thing sometimes.

Attaining utter preposterousness within one and a half seconds is surely some kind of record.

Peel would have loved this record then.
