Here's a new track from Coldplay. No word yet if it's an album track or a forthcoming b-side. I'm feeling the guitar on this, and Chris sounds in top form.

Interested in hearing what Coldplay fans think [i know many of you on this board are coldplay haters, so no need to post].

well i've been saying that they're the next U2, and this track furthers that idea.

that said, i really liked it.

Listening now, and I am enjoying it. And I agree about the guitar, it sounds pretty great.

Yep, Coldplay aren't one-hit wonders after all.

Very nice single.

When was there every an assumption they would be one hit wonders? Or is that sarcasm. The first album had what...3 big singles? and the 2nd had like 4?

I listen to the radio quite frequently, but I don't remember hearing a decent buzz for Coldplay until "Clocks" hit the scene. Maybe Coldplay had a few minor hits before "Clocks," but if that's true, those "hits" didn't register in my area.

I don't think this is that good as a single at all.

"Yellow" didn't register? Surprised...

Thanks for the heads-up, D!

"Yellow" was the only real hit off that album I can remember.

I second the comparison and the sentiment. I also really like it quite a lot.

Thanks for posting this, too. Much appreciated.

Not sure it's that. I was able to connect and listen to it from work earlier this morning, but it's now giving me a "File Transfer: Unavailable" error.

yeah, people downloaded it to the point where it exceeded YSI's bandwidth allotment. i think that they're only good for like 10 d/ls or something, effectively.
